2000 GMC Safari Van – Entire life spent in the southeast; originally purchaed outside of Charlotte, NC where it resided until May of 2004 and aince then it has been garaged in Central FL – I have owned the van since August 2001. The vehicle has not been smoked in. It has been meticulously maintained – using synthetic fluids for the last 100,000 or so. It cranks on the first turn, it runs out strong, and the transmission shifts strong and smooth. It has been one of the most reliable vehicles my family has ever owned. We have replaced the vehicle with a newer vehicle and simply need to sell it. There are no check engine light issues. The ABS unit was replaced with a new unit about 18 months ago. The front brakes have been recently replaced. The van is in overall good condition. Tires are about 30% tread life left. Within the last two years I have also replaced the radiator, the alternator, mass air flow sensor, and the intake gaskets. The only items worth noting are as follows: Cosmetic Exterior – Small crease in driver front quarter below mirror (see pics); minor dings in paint primarily in front from road chips, etc. Cosmetic Interior – Driver and passenger door arm rest are dry cracked (see pics);; missing rear air damper (see pics); missing panel cover on driver side of rear seat (see pics); mesh pocket beside front passenger seat is broken (see pics) Mechanical – Small oil leak at rear of engine, probably rear oil seal – will leak or use about ½ quart between oil changes. Almost insignificant but needs to be noted. Probably needs a front end alignment – noticing a little wear on inside front passenger tire. Kelly Blue Book values the van at $3025 for Private Party Seller in Good Condition - the van is for sale locally for $2000 - should anyone want to do a "Buy It Now" option prior to the end of sale, please contact me at (863)557-9768 and I will alter the listing to include that option.
