1970 Datsun 240Z First main yr the Zs came over Only yr with less imported was 69 Engine serial # matches Engine Tag ! Rust Free AZ car / 5 spd / factory AC !! 70 production around 16,215 imported to the USA. Car runs and drives great. Period Daisy style alloy rims on the car. A/C all there, probably needs to be charged. It has been painted at least once (original color) RF fender / hood and door could be aligned better but Ill leave it for the next owner. Its fine for a driver or weekend car show Z exibitor, but could look better if that was done and maybe even buff some of the orange peel out of the paint. Interior is mostly stock original with the exception of the front seats being recovered and Headlight switch broken. Some old stereo wiring hanging down from the pass side dash. Interior is mostly original still, showing some Az wear. Everything else on the car seems to work well. H4 European style headlights have been installed. Drive around as is or restore it back to a 100pt show car. Shows 63k on the odometer, prob turned over at some point. Previous owner had the stock air cleaner chrome plated. What you will see in the pics below is: Ive been all over and Under the car, and have pics to below to prove our claims. We really try to have realistic reserves on all of our auctions and want to sell cars, not sit on them for another year. LOTS OF PICS, it may take a full minute for them all to load if you have a slow connection, so be patient. This is a great car to restore 100% and would do so nicely. Or just fix a few things and drive it the way it is. Everytime I drive it, it draws a small crowd. It is an example of a era long gone. Remember: they arent making anymore :) My take is this has been in Az its whole life. Az gets maybe 12" a yr of rain. Both are off a 70 and correct for this car.
