I have a 1997 Toyota Tacoma TRD package with a 5 speed manual. It has 227000 miles and still runs out strong. The transmission was gone through by the original owner and had everything replaced, the motor has never had a bolt turned on it, all stock. 4x4 works good, no abnormal noises of any kind.
