Vehicle Detail

Here is a great condition, low millage, 1992 e30 convertible. It is easy to see how well this car was taken care of over the years. Body:Very straight with great paint. The pictures don't lie. This Laguna green paint is such a great color on these cars and not very common. The top was probably replaced once since it looks so good. The rear window is clear like glass and the top fabric is free from blemishes and has no holes and great sticking. The top is electric which is really cool for an older car like this. There are two spots where the tops needs a little help with the folding. The rear tonneau cover needs a little pressure to fully close on the right side and the rear window needs to be pulled a bit at one part, you can reach it from where you're sitting though. I can go over the steps with you. Know the functions work just not like how BMW meant it to from the factory. Interior:The interior is clean, as you can see. The leather is in great condition and fun to see leather look so good after so many years. It looks like the upper section of the rear seat was redone but it was done in nice leather and not vinyl like what most people reupholster with. The front seats are not dried out and all the adjustments work perfectly. These front seats are not heated like they should be since this is a convertible. When I got this car the seats were a little dry and I found some great condition M3 seats. M3 seats look the same but they are not heated. If you wish to switch the original heated seats with these seats I can do that. Everything else about the interior is nice. Everything moves, turns, slides, blinks and rotates like it should. Suspension:The front end suspension was just redone. The original shocks were a bit loose so some Bilsteins were put in. The tie rods, control arms and bushings were also worn so those were replaced and an alignment was done after. The front end got new tires, the rears are not new but have lots of life left. The brakes are good all around and the rear shocks are still stiff like they should be. Engine/ Drivetrain:The motor just got a new timing belt with water pump, belts, hoses, spark plugs, filters, seals, and a valve adjustment. It runs great and pulls like it should. The automatic trans shifts crisply. The exhaust is all stock and has no rust holes. Issues:The radio reception doesn't seem to be that great. The antenna goes up and down like it should but stations just don't come in too great. I mentioned the electric top and attention it needs. The drivers door lock it a bit strange; the key goes in the hole just fine but after you lock it the key wants to stay in the door lock. I would suggest using a different lock like the trunk until you give the key hole some attention or just get a keyless entry. The locks themselves work great. I am just realizing now that the tags expired in January, I will pay you back the DMV fees. I am not a profesional. I have described this vehicle as an enthusiast but not a mechanic. By bidding you realize this car is sold as is with no warranty. I would love to show this car to any interested party and suggest seeing and driving the car in person before serious offers are made This really is a nice car and so much fun to drive. You can't buy them new but you can buy a low millage one like this and pretend.
