Engine is 5.0 V8 with a 5-speed manual transmission that doesn't like going into reverse. Clutch feels strong and does not slip. Interior is red cloth. Typical problems are the poor factory paint peeling, red cloth drivers seat torn, and dash cracked. This is a high mileage car, odometer stopped working at 170K, and it does puff blue smoke. The t-tops do not leak. There is also an intermittent no-start problem (I believe it is the VATS by-pass installed by a previous owner) which will not allow the car to be jumped or push started. This car runs and handles good, just needs some attention. Lots of NEW parts: headlights (4), front grill, hood struts, serpentine belt, plugs, plug wires, distributor cap/rotor, air filter, PCV valve, O2 oxygen sensor, battery, power window motors (2), rear hatch motor, rear brakes/drums, rear shocks (not installed), front rubber brake lines (not installed), power steering high pressure hose (not installed), 3-inch Flowmaster cat-back exhaust with all seams welded, high beam switch (not installed). The tires appear to be new, with plenty or tread. Now for the no so new - it needs some TLC. AC appears to be intact but it does not work. Heat works very good. No radio. No headliner. Driver seat torn. Tach and speedo are only gauges that do not work (extra gauge cluster included). Body - factory paint is chipping off exposing primer (common issue for this year vehicle). All plastic (bumper covers and ground effects) have spider-cracked paint from UV, plus front/rear spoiler and nose have cracks. Drivers door is only area that needs serious body work. Being sold AS-IS. NO RESERVE. Transmission does go into reverse and reverse does work, just have to go first-reverse for proper shaft alignment. Starting problem is intermittent - gremlins.......
