Vehicle Detail
1979 Camaro W/ RS Paint and Z-28 Scoops and Spoilers For Sale is a newly professionally refurbished 1979 Camaro with New Rally Sport paint scheme, Black on White with Red dividing stripe. The motor is a gone through strong 350 with an Edelbrock Performer Intake and Z-28 Carb and heads with new Summit Racing Headers. (Had a Z-28 motor with cracked block and took all other parts for this engine) (Compressions tests at 150-160 lbs per cyl.) Includes a Turbo Auto trans and 10 bolt rear end with the new Mastercraft Avenger GT tires on Z-28 wheels. Z-28 Fender Flares, Hood, Scoops, and Spoilers. Refurbished interior includes new front and rear seat upholstery, new carpet, new rear tray, and the best new door panels money can buy, all from Classic Industries. ($1250 in materials) All original body panels with no rust or collision damage. (A few door dings were filled). Also has new weatherstrip and door seals. The car is equipped with A/C yet is missing one small line. The compressor kicks in and pumps. If you replace the line, it can be re-charged with R-134 as the system has been evacuated and dried. The entire car was stripped to the bare metal and refinished with epoxy primer, sealer, and PPG finishes base coat and clear. The engine compartment has been sandblasted and refinished with Eastwood Restoration products. New Upper Control Arm Bushings and ball joints were installed too. New Power Steering pump and lines, New Master Cylinder and brakes as well as all new shocks. The trunk has been refinished with the speckled splatter paint like the original older Camaros. This is not a show car, nor is it priced as such. As well it is not a "used car", or priced as such either. It is however a very nice car you can criuse in proudly, dazzle your friends, have fun, and hang out at the local car shows. You could even win something, who knows. This is a nice car to be enjoyed. Valued at $11,300 with the reserve WAY less than $7,000, you can get this car better than wholesale or public auction.
