Up for sale is a ‘99 Ford Windstar (for parts or repair only). I purchased this car used in June 2004 at 74,300 miles. I was driving this car daily until the 20th of February this year when the engine refused to start. I had a mechanic take a look at it and he said that the engine would not turn on because it is blocked. I already have a new car so here is your chance to buy a great bargain. The transmission was completed replaced at 94,921 miles with a two year warranty and no mile limit (paid $2231.76 have had no problems with it since). The battery was replaced four months ago ($104.01). I bought two new tires five months ago ($179.94), and two more about a year ago ($179.94). The interior is in good shape except the carpet, which requires a thorough cleaning after the winter season. There is also a problem with the body paint that has been peeling off of the roof and trunk door. I painted over it and called Ford about it, but they refused to fix the problem. About three years ago, the front heating system stopped functioning and I’ve been using the rear heating system instead, which has worked just fine. The air conditioning has always worked fine. Some of the gadgets, such as the heated mirrors and electric driver seat control, do not work. If you have any questions, feel free to ask, but it’s easier if you just come and take a look for yourself. The car is parked by my mechanic’s repair shop in Des Plaines during his business hours (8:00AM – 6:00PM). LOCAL PICK-UP ONLY.
