This is for a Very RARE and Solid 1965 OLDSMOBILE Vista Cruiser Wagon in a very desirable color combo of White with red interior with some interesting options.I bought this car to make a 442 wagon out of but it is just to nice for me to do that to.So I am going to offer it for sale just one time.I bought this this past month out of Louisiana.It was bought new in Baton Rouge La.I have a copy of the original title from 65.I have all the books including the protecto plate.This car was driven into a barn and parked in 1978.It has always been in La.The interior is absolutly MINT and original with NO sun fading.The dash and gauges look like new!!The original Rare red Olds floor mats are still in the car.The headliner is perfect as is the dash and door panals.Even the carpet is still original.This car has never been messed with and has not seen the light of day in many years.It has not been cranked since the late 70's.I put a battery in and everything on the inside works.The motor will not turn over by the starter(Bad Starter) but will turn by hand.It is NOT stuck.I am sure it will run fine with alittle tinkering.The car has the 330 v-8 with a Jetaway 2 speed trans.The oil is still clean and the trans fluid is pretty and pink.There is some evidence of a mouse or squirl,that had a nest in the both front fender wells and chewed thru the headlight and horn wires.There is ome rust there from their nest.But there is no rust thru on the actual fender.****There has not been any Mice in the car ever!!! The inside still has that Oldsmobile smell with NO damage and everything works.The doors all open and shut like NEW.The body is super straight and Very solid.The passenger rear stainless wheel well moulding is bent,the cast pieces are fine.The front bumper will need replacing or straightning and rechroming.There is a small (bullet) hole in the passenger front fender.There is NO body rust on this car.The floors ,rockers,fenders ,doors,hood,tail gate,quarters and spare tire well, are all rust free and solid!!!The storage compartment inthe rear still looks new inside with NO rust.The vista glass on the drivers side front is cracked the other one has a small amount of discoloration and long drivers side vista glass has some discoloration to it.See Photos.All other glass is very good.There is no Rust around the windshield.There are a couple of very small spots of rust by the front vista glasses but as you can see there is no damage to the inside of the car due to it being inside stored.They will need to be resealed.I did see a few drips of water when I rinsed it off.***********The SLOTTED MAGS ON THE CAR DO NOT COME WITH IT!!!************ I put these on it to move it around.I will have a used matching set of tires installed on the original factory RARE 15 inch rims with poverty caps.I have all 5 including The spare tire is the original one that came with the car.See Photos.This is a very interestingly equipped Vista.It is kinda of a stripper for a Vista.It never had a roof rack and is a Rare 6 passenger model with a manual back glass and rubber cargo mats.It also has the short hood moulding.The car has power steering and power brakes along with factory A/C which is all there.This car is truly a time capsule that deserves to be restored back to original condition.See Photos.As I said I will offer it only once and if doesn't sell I will keep it.The buyer will be responsible for transporting this car.
