Hello,thanks for looking at my 1999 Volkswagen new beetle,gls,5spd,turbo diesel.It has 138,000 miles and counting,because we use it everyday as our daily driver.The only reason we are selling is the family is getting bigger,otherwise we wouldn't be selling it.If you are looking for a great looking car move on.It's going on 11 years old so it has the normal scratches and scuffs,but no rust or body damage.Since I've had it I have put tires on it 10,000 miles ago,new battery 2,000 miles ago,2 new struts,2 new shock 300 miles ago,new timing belt,pulleys ,new glow plugs,and water pump 25,000 miles ago,2 new power window regulators,husky floor mats,headlights(old ones were very discolored and cloudy),new altenator at 20,000 miles ago,2005 late model alloy vw wheels,hidden hitch(great for bike rack),sunroof visor,door visors,tinted windows,rear spoiler,heavy duty belly pan w/ sideskirts (the stock plastic ones are a joke protecting bottom of motor)dieselgeek.com,and also a new plug up preheater for those cold mornings(instant heat!)frostheater.com .I change the oil with mobil one full synthetic 0w-40 every 6000 miles, and I changed the trans. gear oil at 125,000 miles.We average about 45 mpg on freeway with as high as 49 mpg! You can't go wrong on this vehicle,I've done everything you would have to with a 100,000+miles vw diesel.There is a crack on the plastic of the speedo lens cover,the common tear on drivers seat,headliner is loose above door openings alittle,passenger side door cover came loose so I put screws in it,rear bench seat has a small tear in it(see pics.),and it has a cd changer in the trunk area,not sure it works,but never used it.The satellite radio on the dash does not go with the car.A non-refundable $200.00 deposit due in 24 hours with paypal at auction end,the rest due with cash or cashiers check within 72 hours,email or call me 276-920-4405 with any questions.This is sold as/is no warranty.My feedback speaks for itself and I would like to keep it that way.
