You are bidding on a 1971 Firebird, this is a firebird formula cone this car came from the factory as a Espirt 350 4speed car with air and 10 bolt posi. The car is a driver quality car and great for local shows. This is an affortable muscle car that you can drive and if you want restore.The car is fast but not a super fast race car but it is a very good driver with some punch. I have been using it for the past few months back and fourth to work and the person I bought it from had driver it daily for 8 years so its a reliable car for someone. The drive train: The original motor and trans is gone, but the original shifter 10 bolt rear-end still remain. The car currently has a Olds 455 4bbl motor with a 4 spd muncie behind it going to a 3.08 posi rear. It has a holley 650 with vacuum secondaries and the 455 is stock. The motors runs excellent and has 45 lbs of oil pressure and nevers smokes or burns oil. The wheels and tires are off an GTA trans am, they are 16*7 rims with brand new 800 dollar 16 inch tires, the car sits low and handles excellent. The brakes and exhaust are also is good shape The body: The car has a blue metallic paint job, the formula hood and the rear spoiler from a formula, the metal on the car is ok and the paint that is on the car looks nice and shines, but you can see that this was not a high end job but it very presentable. The windows felts and rubber seals around the doors have been replaced, the body mount bushings have also all been replaced with new poli bushings. The rear quarters have been replaced with the 80% quarters and they did a good job. The very bottom of the quarters and doors have started to bubble but its very monor as far as body work goes. The underside is in good shape for a car 40 years old and as I checked further I could see that the body on the car overall is very solid. The rockers, the trunk and the inner wheel wells are all in great shape. The drivers side floor pan has a 10" * 10" square, the passengers side is clean and hasnt rusted thru. The frame and the rear lower valance is all very nice without any rot and not rotted like most of the cars in this price range I have seen, the wheels weels have some rust but nothing major. Interior: The windows are are in good shape with no chips or cracks. The interior is Blue and all original and in very good shape, the headliners need replacing but the seats, console, dash etc are all nice.
