1987 Samurai JX 4x4 with 104,455 miles and mostly original except for upgrades such as 105 amp GM alternator and headers to increase performance, this vehicle has never been off road or altered in any way, although it has had a few owners it is extremely well maintained, it has no leaks of any kind and everything works like it should including the digital clock, it has every option that was available in 1987 such as air conditioning with all new parts, two piece hard top, overhead sound bar with 6 speakers, fowl weather front tubs, brush guard with new original fog lights, rear storage box, trailer hitch with upgraded lights converter so that the trailer lights work like they should. Not original but also has a very nice center console with another digital clock and a 12 volt power outlet, Kenwood AM/FM C/D stereo with a USB port in the glove box for ipods. This Samurai is in exceptional mecanical condition and it runs excellent with no hesitation or iddling issues. In the last few years lots of parts have been replaced with original Suzuki parts when available. At 103, 820 miles it began to burn oil so the cylinder head was replaced with a new one that was in storage for 3 years, the pistons, rings, bearings, oil pump, water pump, water log, all water hoses, timing belt, oil and temperature sensors were replaced. There are many other parts that have been replaced in the last two years and if anyone would like to know if anything in particular was replaced just ask. The transmission and transfer case have never been touched except for service. The original color was professionally changed to a green pearl a few years ago and it's hard to tell that it's not the original, before the carpet was replaced the interior floors were sprayed with bedliner so the floor pans are solid. This Samurai has 3 small rust spots which can be seen in the pictures, NO rust in the under carriage or on the frame, the interior is mostly original with the original door panels matching the rear seat which has a small cut on the back, the center of the front seats were re-upholtered, both front and back seats have matching custom made seat covers, the tailgate panel has a couple of holes that had speaker wires going thru at some point. I've done my best to describe the condition of this Samurai but please do not hesitate to ask any questions. This vehicle it's also been sold locally so I reserve the right to terminate the auction at any time. If the buyer can not pick up the vehicle in person and wants it transported, buyer must make their own arrangements with a carrier as long as I'm giving a week's notice because I travel for a living and I would obviously need to be home.
