1989 Honda Nighthawk

Please note that this is not a Nighthawk, Ebay labeled it this way and I am unable to remove that category. 1989 Honda Hawk GT on Sale (Woman Owned). I am no longer able to ride due to shoulder and neck damage caused by a car accident 2 years ago. I tried to drive the bike once, but ended up dropping it at a stop, thus causing slight damage to the front of the bike - ride side was scratched with slight road rash on the edge of the right side mirror and the left side has a crack under the turn signal due to the drop (see pictures). Bike battery died, so the bike has not been started in over 8 months, but was started monthly prior to the battery death. I have owned the bike for 7 years and have had the bike repainted to the red/black in the pictures (from yellow) and have had the carburetor cleaned, chain replaced, and the cushions in the drive replaced. Along with several oil changes and a complete tune up. It has also been lowered to accommodate my 5'5" frame and had Frame Sliders added. When the bike has a battery, it drives smooth and with little effort. Not a loud bike, the muffler gives just enough noise to know you are there. Has the Honda Hawk legionary Single-Sided Swing Arm (see picture). Bike is currently stored in a large garage with ATVs and lawn equipment. Bike is only available for pick up. Thank you. {Remember, bike weighs approx 440 lbs and is not crated.}On Mar-06-11 at 18:40:17 PST, seller added the following information:In response to the continued questions I am receiving regarding the lowering of my bike and the frame sliders: The bike was lowered by putting fork blocks at the top of the bike by the controls. If you look at the picture of the meters/controls you will see the two chrome blocks that are taking up the extra room of the height. It's really easy to make it heigher again, just have them removed (or remove them yourself if you are machanically inclined). Frame sliders are pucks added to the front of the bike. They are made of plastic, so if you lay down your bike, the road eats them up instead of your tank or fairings. Look at the pictures, you will see the black pucks sticking out a bit further down than the rest of the fairings close to the front of the bike. If you lay down your bike, you can just buy new pucks (in a varity of colors) and replace the ruined ones with minimal damage to the bike.
