Hello. This listing is for a 1959 Ford Galaxie 500 4dr sedan. The car runs and drives and is still in regular use so the mileage will continue to rise. The only original mechanicals are the rear axle, the rest has been updated as follows: 1964 289 2bbl engine, 1971 c4 3sp auto trans, GM alternator setup, dual system power drum brake conversion, & electric wiper conversion. Has good tires, new brakes, brake hoses and wheel cylinders The interior is very poor. The front seat was bad so I put in bucket seats from a junkyard. The wheels are 15" from an 80's lincoln. The only rust holes are in a corner of one door and in the bottom of front fenders. I put some black paint on those spots last year. Otherwise, it's a good solid western body and frame. The door glass is cracked and front pass door needs new window roller. Small bb type chip in windshield that's been there for years and hasn't grown. This would make an excellent driver project or a rod. The engine and drivetrain are easy to find parts for and reliable. I took it on a 180 mile round trip in December. I will include the original seat frame, vacuum wiper motor, and an extra grille. Deposit is non-refundable and I strongly encourage coming to see the car in person.
