1966 International Scout “Sportop” No...this is not a mirage, you are looking at the extremely rare Scout “Sportop.” This 1966 International Scout is a true factory “Sportop” with it’s deluxe top and rear rap around chrome bumpers. This Scout is a real gem. It runs and drives great! The truck even has the original factory radio in the dash. The hard to find original back seat is even still in place. The Scout has ALL WHEEL DRIVE and nice “mud grip” tires to get you where you’re going. The original slat four engine runs great and I have never seen one drip of oil on the garage floor. The Scout has less than 91,000 original miles on it and has been in dry south Texas since new. The body is very straight and has a recent new paint job to match the original color. The floors are original and very solid...only very minor rust...not much. All the lights and gauges seem to work and the truck comes with thousands of dollars of past receipts. The radio lights up but no sound is coming out the the speaker. Perhaps a loose wire. The truck even has a vintage gun rack between the seat. You’ll receive a clear TEXAS title and a bill of sale for the purchase. Oh...and a thick file folder on the truck. The Scout also has a nice tow-bar that mounts on the front so you can pull her home.
