1990 Mercedes Benz 300 E for TLC repairs or as an excellent parts car offered at no reserve. The high bidder will own this car. I purchased it at an auction and just drove it over 200 miles and it runs and drive well. The engine does not knock or smoke and the transmission shifts smoothly. The ride is true Mercedes.Problems are mostly cosmetic which can be seen in the pictures---a wrinkle in the right rear quarter panel around the fuel door, a break in the right rear plastic above the bumper (probably what caused the wrinkle.) Broken turn signal lens, broken head light lens cover. The air conditioner runs but does not cool. There is plastic darkening film on the windows that should be removed, it is bubbling. The windshield has a crack in it, The tires need replaced in the next few hundred miles. The face of the radio is missing as is the antenna. The drivers window does not operate, The other three operate fine. Now for the good news---as I said the motor and transmission seem to be in great shape, the body is mostly rust free (bubbles around antenna mount and chip by the grill), wheels are in good condition, sun roof operates both ways,all the instrument gauges work fine, power seat works good, interior leather is in good condition as are the carpets.
