1965 Buick Riviera with 401 ci Wildcat V8, Automatic transmission, Air conditioning. Newly replaced items include: shocks, heavy duty coil springs, ball joints, alternator, steering box, battery, rebuilt carburetor, new tires (correct coker white walls). Condition: Car was repainted by original owner and is very clean. Chrome is brite and clean with only slight wear from age, few scrub marks, etc. Original interior is excellent and clean. There is one 1/4" tear in head liner above passenger seat, otherwise spotless. Wood trim is excellent and undamagaed. Engine runs great, have taken it on weekend trips with no issues, Clam shell head lights work and allign perfectly. Air conditioning was redone and charged and cools well. I have been showing this car as original and it always attracts a croud. It is very straight with no dents or dings. Rims are rally type and have slight rust in the edge of the rim, otherwise in very good condition. Has new dual exhaust system and sounds great, not too loud, just nice. She is a runner and will go on any trip, or could easily be cleaned up to show. Engine compartment was cleaned but not professionally and is nice but would need work to show. It does have a 10 CD player installed that works through the radio, but no holes were drilled to install and it could easily be removed, but works great. Left rear window rolls down fine but was scratched by previous owner where a trim screw was sticking out and scored the window. Otherwise the glass is clean. I am selling this car as is, and would be happy to answer any questions you have prior to end of auction. I have a large collection and it is time to cut back. Keeping my favorites, but hard to keep them all going so the Riv needs to go to make room in the garage. I try very hard to describe things accurately and I don't guarentee that you won't find a nick, but this is a very clean southern car I purchased in Atlanta, GA and she is very clean.
