1964 Mercury Marauder,427 dual Quad factory 4 speed.This car is a rare build.It is a top of the line Mercury {Parklane} with the Marauder package {bucket seat, console,fastback roof line,emblems and trim},but it is a factory 4 speed with no power options.It was originally a Z code 390 4 barrel {motor comes with car}.Car is orignal with the exception of the 63 R code 427 engine replacing the 390.The engine is a 63 R code top oiler 427 with original heads,original intake and exhaust manifolds and carbs and air cleaner.The motor is rebuilt with diamond pistons,scat crank,scat rods,balanced,factory holman moody cam,erson roller rockers,crane push rods,7 qt. pan,machined triple spring heads with machined guide valve seals,NOS valve covers,factory fuel filter and high volume fuel pump.The car has new center force dual frinction clutch,NOS schaefer blow proof flywheel,top loader 4 speed{original},Griffin aluminum radiator with factory 6 blade fan and factory shroud,electric pusher fans for cruise and show traffic,sure grip carrier with new ring and pinion and bearings{factory 350 ratio}rebuilt driveshaft,vintage anson scatter shield,reman. starter,new battery and cables,factory dual exhaust with loud mufflers.Brakes have been redone with lines,hoses wheel cyl.sand master cyl.Front end rebuilt,interior redone.dash pad has slight cracking right corner.Been repainted,chrme and stainless good.Original ,spare and jack,original hubcaps.New trunck mat.Car was featured on American Muscle Marauder feature.Runs and drives good looks good.Car is adult owned and never abused.5 Torque Thrust mags and new BFG tires come with vehicle.New trunk mat not shown in picture.Vehicle has dealer installed cable remote trunk release.On Feb-28-11 at 10:11:56 PST, seller added the following information: I added some more pictures to try to answer some questions.
