I am selling this for a deceased friends family. He rode this up until about two years ago. It has been stored since then, inside his garage. Luckily, he must have put stabil in the gas. I put a new battery in the bike, and it started up just like it had been running yesterday. Once it warmed up and the choke was off, I took it for a short ride. I rode it enough to make sure it ran and shifted properly. The motor feels strong, even with the old gas in it. The reverse gear works like it is supposed to. I didn't check the radio. The brakes work fine, but I feel the rear needs new pads. I have owned lots of motorcycles, but I'm not an expert on Goldwings. The rear brake pedal pushes a little farther than I think it should, which to me means the rear pads are getting thin. Cosmetically, there are very minor paint imperfections,and some rust on a couple of the chrome trim panels and exhaust. Some of that should clean up. The aluminum parts have some mild corrosion from sitting. These items may show in the pictures. I would highly recommend coming to inspect this bike. It shows just under 31,000 miles, and judging from the condition, I would think that is correct. The title shows 29,307 miles when he bought it on feb 23,2005. I wouldn't hesitate to ride this bike across the country. I have no knowledge of the age of the tires, so that might be a limiting factor for you. If you want to fly in and ride home, I can arrange pick up for you at Daytona airport or New Smyrna beach airport. This bike has no factory warranty left, so it is being sold "as is" If you are looking for a perfect bike, you should probably buy a new one. If you are looking for a nice used Goldwing, needing just a little TLC, for a fraction of the cost of a new one, this could be the one for you. I have a clear title ready. I didn't post the vin number, but will give it to you if you ask. I have put a very reasonable reserve on this bike. I am keeping that figure a secret.
