i bought this truck at an auction a couple of weeks ago but it really isnt what i want so im selling it i have been driving it every day since i got it so i will tell you the good and the bad it has the 3.9 v-6 engine which seems to be ok i changed the oil and filter in it it has plenty of power and runs good starts right up it does not smoke at all or leak any oil the engine is also very clean so i dont think the motor needs anything done to it the transmission is having trouble shifting from 1st to 2nd gear you have to let off the gas and then it shifts i took it to a transmission shop and they said it could be the shifting selonoid is going bad in it they said thats common with this trucks but once your out on the road it does fine driving at 55or60 mph it drives just fine seems like a good old truck the 4 wheel drive works good no problems there and it needs a ball joint on the left front the body is very nice which is why i bought it it looks really good paint is very nice no rust the interior is in very good condition the only thing on the inside that looks bad is the headliner the dash is nice the seats are nice it was dirty when i got it so i did try to clean it up someeverything works on it thewindshied is cracked and some one put a new muffler on it and i would change that i think its a cherry bomb so its not as quiet as i would like it to be but its not to bad it has a bed liner and a receiver hitch the tires are goodyear wranglers and they are in good shape like i said i have been driving this truck everyday to work it is drivable just like it is but if you want to make it right you will need to spend some money on it the windshield cost $238.00 the correct muffler for it is $53.00 you can get the transmission completley rebuilt for $750.00 that is the price i was quoted the front end will cost somewhere around $200.00 to make it 100% and i think it might need brakes other than that its a real nice truck the body and interior isvery nice which makes it worth putting a little money into i will put a low buy it now price on it so someone can fix all this stuff and not have a fortune in it it is a 4x4 and that makes it worth money no matter how bad it isif your seios about buying this truck i would advise you to call me first so we can talk in detail about it before you buy i dont want no misunderstadings i need to sell this so i can buy what i want i would trade it for 1984-87 chevy 4x4 truck that is the only thing im interested in trading for so when i sell this thats what im going to buy thanks for looking and please call with your questions my name is matt and my ph # is 812-972-4647 thanks
