1965 GMC SHORTBED Up for auction is my 1965 GMC shortbed. I have owned this truck for about two years and hate to see it go. I have spent over 8500 on the truck just in fixing it up. I have about 4000 alone in the engine and transmission. The truck runs and drives great and is very fast. just needs body work and paint. The truck has a killer sound system in it powered by a jvc cd player with mp3, hooked up to two sony 6x9's between the leather bucket seats. The carpet is like new. it was installed about two years ago. The truck is equiped with a homade bedcover that is not weather proof but does hide the fuel cell in the bed. ENGINE: 358 c.i. , eagle crank, Lunati vodoo cam, 305 heads with 2.02 valves, performer rpm intake, edelbrock 600cfm carb. This engine has less than 3000 miles on it since it was built. TRANSMISSION : Freshly rebuilt Turbo 350 with 3500 stall converter. B&M ratchet shifter. REAREND : Factory limited slip, About a 4:11 gear ratio. EXHUAST : Stainless steel shorthy headers running into two flowmaster mufflers. SUSPENSION : Factory frame but has been lowered with aftermarket coil spring. New shocks, Disc Brake conversion kit.
