1978 Buick Skylark 2 door I have been a licensed Virginia used car dealer since 1988. I am a very small dealer who usually only sells locally but this is such a unique car I wanted to put it here on Ebay to see if there is any interest. I bought this car from a gentleman in Kingsport Tennessee who told me he bought it off of the original owner's nephew. He says the miles are correct. Just over 11,000 miles. I know this is hard to beleive and I am not 100% sure as I have never spoken to the orginal owner. It appears to be accurate but I do not want to misrepresent anything. When I purchased it the vehicle had a Tennessee title issued in 1983. I was told this was after the original owner's husband passed and the titled was changed to her name only, again I cannot verify this. This Tennessee title does not list the mileage. This is a 1978 Buick Skylark which is just like a Chevrolet Nova. It is equipped with a 231 c.i. V-6 engine, auto transmission, it has power steering and power disc brakes. It is also equipped with air conditioning, but it does not blow cold. I drove this car a little over 100 miles home after purchasing it with no problems. It drives just like a new 1978 Buick Skylark. The steering wheel is straight, it does not pull to one side or the other and the brakes work just like they are supposed to. The transmission shifts good and the motor does not miss. It does drip a little oil. The interior looks perfect with no rips or tears, no cracks in the dash and the owner's manual still in the glove box. The inside of the truck looks like the day it rolled off the assembly line, It still has the original spare tire. The exterior has no rust at all and the floors and trunk look great, the paint is weathered some. I cannot find any evidence of prior collision damage. I would encourage anyone interested to come and inspect it in person and drive it. It is a 33 year old car and it is not perfect, but it is the best kept older car I have ever had.
