For Sale: A 1967 Chevrolet Impala SS matching number big block engine with clear title in hand. Matching number engine, transmission and rear end. Don't miss out on this one. My father and I ran an autobody business for many, many years and collected quite a few project cars which I will never get done in this lifetime. My wife has convinced me to get rid of some of them and concentrate on restoring one of them because she wants to see one finished in her lifetime. This car has a 396 engine, Rochester 4 BBL carburetor, power steering, power brakes, turbo 400 transmission, 12 bolt rear end. It has bucket seats with center console but the back seat is missing. The frame and windows on the car are in good shape. We live in a rural area, sort of like a spec on the map and I knew the old guy that I got the car from. When I got it from him it needed a flex plate. The engine does turn over. This is a great project car but there is rust on the floor pans, trunk pan, the lower portion of the doors,where the rear glass meets the trunk, around trunk lock latch and in the upper cowl under the hood. The car still has the orignal SS wheel covers.
