Vehicle Detail
1992 CAMARO RS - B4C / 1LE - TPI - 5 Speed 305 Tune Port Injection Engine Manual Transmission (MM5 / MK6) Former Texas Highway Patrol - originally black and white 1LE Brakes (Corvette) Manual windows and locks This B4C was brought from El Paso two years ago and was tuned so that it now runs well. Other than getting the car to run well, the Camaro is in the same basic shape as when it arrived. The only rust in the car is on the roof as seen in the pictures. The exhaust has been replaced and has a good sound. If you have further questions or would like to see the car please give me a call at 615-653-3241. On Feb-24-11 at 10:28:55 PST, seller added the following information: I've gotten several messages about what a "B4C" or a "1LE" is. Here is some information from a couple of Camaro sites: www.thirdgen.org : `Special Service' police package became available to law enforcement agencies only. Cars were RS coupes with Z28 5.0 TPI or 5.7 TPI drivetrains and Z28 suspensions. These cars came equipped with the 16 inch wheels and P245/50-ZR16 tires, engine oil cooler, rear disc brakes, and limited slip axle. The 1LE 11.86 inch front brakes and HD calipers became optional for the B4C. This package was the only way to get air conditioning and the HD front brakes. There were 589 1992 B4C Camaros built. www.camarosource.ca : The 1992 B4C option cost $3,479 on top of the RS Coupe base list price of $12,075. It included the G92 Performance Axle package, which necessitated the choice of the LB9 305 with five (5)-speed manual transmission or the B2L 350 with four (4)-speed automatic transmission. With either engine, the performance dual catalytic converter exhaust system was included, along with air conditioning, 16-inch aluminum wheels mounted with 245/50ZR16 blackwall tires. New for 1992 was the inclusion of Corvette-style front brake calipers to four (4)-wheel disc brakes. Features still included an engine oil cooler, 105-amp alternator, heavy-duty 630 cold-crank-amp battery, heavy-duty electrical systems for the amount of gadgets that will be put into the car by the police department. 145-mile per hour speedometer, Z28 suspension, and the limited-slip rear axle. In addition to what I originally listed a 1992 B4C / 1LE Camaro with a 305 TPI / 5-speed trans has: 3.42 rear gear 4 wheel disc brakes Corvette front brakes Air conditioning Posi rear If you have further questions I can be reached at 615-653-3241.
