We purchased this car in 2004 from the original owner (I still have his contact information). It had 124,500 miles on it. It now has 127,500. It was purchased new in CA and also spent time in AZ before coming to Kansas City in 2001. 2000 – New headliner 2001 – Bigger injectors from Forward Motion, performance computer installed, roller cam installed. New clutch and cable. 2002 – Rebuilt AC system and replaced the catalytic converter. 2004 – New battery 2006 – Rebuilt rack and pinion. I have used this car to autocross three times. Twice I set the fastest time and the third time I came in second to a Viper (where were those extra two tenths?!?). This car is wonderfully powerful and will run away from my other GLHS. It runs great and I don’t believe the engine or transmission has ever been out of the car. The car runs and drives great. The paint has the usual clear coat fading. The hatch, floors, spare tire area, doors are all good. There isn’t any rust on the body. All of the Shelby specific parts are on the car. The seats are Recaros out of a 1989 CSX. The passenger seat is in really good shape. The driver’s seat is worn through at the bolster and near the headrest where the seatbelt rubbed on it. The rear seat has some markings on the center vinyl section. The hatch shade is in great condition. All the gauges/lights/etc work as they should. The radio does not work. The alarm system has a mind of its own. If you are going to drive it daily you will want to have it repaired/removed. All of the pictures were taken last summer. The car is located about an hour South of Kansas City. Non-refundable payment of $500 due within 24 hours of auction end through Paypal or overnight mail in the form of a cashiers check. Remainder to be paid by CASHIERS CHECK within seven (7) days of auction end. Paypal is NOT accepted for final payment! I reserve the right to end the auction early as the car is advertised in various places. I can store the car for an extended time if needed. It is the buyer’s responsibility to coordinate delivery of the car (I will help in whatever way I can). There is a SLIM chance that we could deliver for a fee if you are between Kansas City and Southeast Florida. Please do not bid if you do not have the funds available NOW. Talk to your banker/lender/spouse before placing a bid. Ebay is a binding contract. Non-paying buyers will be dealt with to the fullest extent allowed.
