NO RESERVE................NO RESERVE...................NO RESERVE 1987 Mercedes 300SDL Turbo Diesel super clean for the age and miles!Runs great, drives great!Paint is in very nice condition for the age still has a nice shine, typical door dings and scratches. There is a scrape in the left front fender that appears to have been rubbed up against a pole or similar. See photo. Also there is a small dent in the chrome trim of the trunk lid with a slight crease just above the chrome. See photo Front seats have cracks in the leather but still looks nice otherwiseDash has tiny cracks around speaker and defrost ventTires are in good shape, I think one is slightly out of balance but hardly noticable.I installed 6 new glow plugs a few weeks ago, changed the vacuum pump to the bolt style because the original was leaking a tiny bit of oil and was the old pressed plate style.Trans was slow in shifting so I changed the dried out cracked leaking vacuum lines and seems to shift very nicely now.Engine smokes a little diesel smoke when first starts up in cold weather but clears right up after it warms up to normal operating temperature. Kind of normal for high milage SDLs See the photo of the exhaust, it was taken while engine was idling.Doesn't seem to use any oil at all.Recent new head gasket and the head was checked and found no issues Head is a #14No trap.There are a lot of new front end parts, ball joins, control arms etc.Many receipts in glove box showing lots of items that have been replace over the years.I have adjusted the alda to max power, seems to make this SDL really scoot down the road now.Odometer does not rotate digits anymore, typical Mercedes plastic gears inside speedo that cracks and falls apart. So mileage is more, but I have no knowledge of exact miles.The heater fan is not operating. It does supply heat as you drive but fan will not come on. It will need replacing.I have over 20 years experience with Mercedes and VW diesels as a side hobby and therefore do all of my own work and repairs. This car is a local North Carolina car and does not have any rust at all. The wheel wells are clean, engine bay is clean, undercarriage is clean, all with no damage and no rust.
