Hello fellow ebayers I am listing this 1998 Crown Victoria LX top of the line loaded with leather and automatic climate control for a elderly gentalmen that is a friend of the family. He now has parkinson dease and can't drive anymore. This car has been driven very very little the last five years, and its in pretty nice shape. It has always been elderly owned, he bought the car from another elderly man that lived in lake worth, Fl. and took good care of it. The car has you can see in the pics has its normal wear for a thirteen year old car, but never in an accident, and all original paint that shines nicely. You can expect little nicks and scratches through out the car nothing major at all, the drive side rear door on the bottom has a light wrinkle(see pics), the window on this door is the only thing that does not work, everything else works perfect. The window motor turn(you can hear it) but it won't go down, all other windows work well. The tires on the car have good thread, but the tires are realy old, and show dry rot,so around town you will be okay but I would think about replacing them if your going to do a lot of highway. The paint like I said is original with great shine, but on the drive door, and a small portion of the top part of the fender the clear coat is chipping(see pics) easy fix. Okay interior is in nice shape, the leather on the drive seat has wear and cracking but no rips, as well as the arm reat, the rest of the seats are okay normal wear but still nice. The dash is in great shape and everything else is great. The roof headliner is starting to come off a little bit by the top brake light, but just around the light, the rest of the roof is great. The a/c blow ice cold, and the digital dash is awesome all the night lights light up well in the interior. That pretty much covers it. Oh he just put in a brand new die hard battery from sears, and that has a 6 year warrenty at any sears. So please ask all questions before bidding, for all you anal people this is not a mint car, and not for you!!!!! By the way this car has an accordian front windsheild shade that I have never seen before, and it works great its perminently installed right by the pillar, and you just pull them together, and the interior is protected.
