Hello. This auction is for my 1964 Chrysler Newport. I had bought this as a driveable parts car but am not going to need it for that. I've been using it as a spare car and daily driver through the winter. Drove it across PA from Pittsburgh and down to Philly last year. This would be a good cheap way to get into the hobby or for parts, etc. The car has a 361(econo version of 383 with smaller pistons) and push button auto transmission. The brake system has been completely replaced except for the drums themselves. Has newer exhaust system and tuneup. It runs, drives, stops and starts in all weather, even on cheap gas. The only leak is from power steering pump. The front seat has been replaced with one from another car and the backseat is in need of recovering. The power brakes work well, probably too well. Only a flex of a toe is needed to stop. Car is PA state safety inspected until the end of 8/2011. I've had offers for the engine + tranny so the reserve will be that amount. I've installed an aftermarket CD player under the dash since the original radio doesn't work. I used existing holes and didn't have to drill or cut into anything. The back package shelf where the speakers are was already drilled before I bought it.
