This is for a Very Nice Original SURVIVOR 1972 Monte Carlo Coupe.This is a Very Nice Original BIG BLOCK car for a bargain of a price and it will not be offered again.There were only 9600 Big Block Monte Carlos built in 72.This is a Real Factory 402 Big Block car for the price of a small block car.And this car is loaded up with all the power toys(power windows,Power locks,Power seat)Cold Factory A/C and the rare factory fender skirts option.See Build sheet photo.The fender skirts can be removed if you prefer.It has power disc brakes,Power variable ratio steering,12 Bolt 2:73 open rear endIt has been well cared for and is for the most part all original and unrestored survivor.I bought this car from the second owner last year(DEC).He had owned the car since 1975.It was Sold new a Bobby Brooks Chevy in Conyers GA on 6-3-72.It was traded back in at the same dealer and the second owner bought the car on 1-14-75 from the same dealer(Bobby Brooks Chevrolet).I have a huge packet of original paperwork on this car,including the original Build sheet.**SEE PHOTO.I have all the original books along with a ton of receipts.The car has always been kept in a garage so it is 99% rust free.All the body panals are original to the car.The only rust on the car is a VERY Very small spot at the very bottom of the passenger fender.See Photo.That is it There is NO other rust on the car.The car was professionally repainted back in the late 80's and it was a very nice job back to the original color.It is actually very hard to tell this car has ever been repainted.Note the photo of the door jambs.It is still very shiny but does have some small chips and couple of small dings from age,the worst being a small scrape on the pass front fender where, the 2nd owner grazed his garage,he just scratched it,there NO dent.The vinyl top is excellent with NO rust under it.All the panals line up perfectly.The trunk is rock solid with the original jack in its case.Other than the air cleaner being resprayed,I have not detailed anything on the car.With some detailing,New trunk mat,the car would turn heads easily.The doors open and shut like new.All the weather strippng is in very good shape,with the exception of the trunk seal.it could use replacing.The interior is all original with the exception of the power front seat being recovered at on time.The carpet could use replacing, due to some wear on the drivers side and a stain on the passenger side.Although,the original Factory Chevy rubber floormats cover both areas.Everything else is very nice including the dash(no cracks) and headliner.Everything Works perfect.The A/C system was redone a few years back completly.It will works excellent.A/C Cold,Heat Hot.The car has Power windows,that work perfect,along with power locks and power seat.********I bought a correct tilt column for the car and a 4 spoke rally steering wheel.I was going to add this option to the car.It will come with the car if you want it.The car runs Great.The car is smooth and drives tight.The factory style dual exhaust system could use replacing.The mufflers and resenators are starting to rust out from age.I was told by the second owner,the motor was rebuilt about 20K miles ago.The car is showing 68K but the owner told me it was 168K and the is verified by all the paperwork.The second owner said the motor was original to the car but the there is no sequence(vin#) on the block,that I can find.The #'s that are present,are TO502CTB.***see Photo.This decodes as the correct date coded 72 engine "402" 240hp motor for the car, but I am amiss about the vin # stamp.I believe this was factory replaced engine since (when the car was built)was never stamped.Warrenty motors are usually stamped differant from what I have read.If anybody knows anything,let me know.The car has not been messed with and has been well cared for.The rally wheels are in Great shape and the tires have hardly any miles on them ,but they are 10 years old,so there is some dry rot.The car is very presentable as is but would not take much to be at the next level.The buyer will be responsible for transporting this car.
