THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. OPENING BID WINS. This is a 1978 corvette body and frame. We purchased this car as a parts car and have boxes and boxes of miscellaneous parts that will be listed shortly. There is no interior, no other parts, just what you see in the pictures is what is for sale in this auction. The body is very straight and without any apparent repairs. It has a nice front clip with just one small crack from the left marker light leading to the bumper. Inner fenders are nice and the headlight header bar is still solid, although it has separated from the fiberglass and will need to be re-bonded. Windshield is intact and in good shape. Rear glass with defrost is also in good condition. Windshield surround has some rust in the upper corners, and I will try to take some better pictures of that and post it. Birdcage has some rust on the bottom of both sides, as I tried to show in the pictures. Both doors are solid without any rust, but are bare without any hardware left inside. There are no t-tops as they were missing when we purchased the car. The front suspension is still intact and in good condition. The frame under this car is very rusty on the back end, but the front half seems to be quite solid. There is no rear suspension under this car. No rear end, or trailing arms. We purchased this as a parts car with a bill of sale, and that is how it will be sold. Please look at pictures, as there are no other parts included in this auction. There are no tires or wheels on the car, but I might be able to find some rollers in order to aid in the loading onto a trailer. This car is for local pickup only, no shipping is offered.
