Relisted due to buyer not coming thru. I listed this vehicle before with what I believed was a spun bearing, I took it to a local mechanic and was told it is transmission related. So this could be either the TOB, clutch or tranny itself. At this point I just want to get rid of it my wife was laid off and we need the money. The vehicle is making a noise that seems to go away above 3500 or so rpm. Sometimes it not even there. But should def. gets fixed and tuned. My wife told me I am not allowed to fix it again. This car is sold as-is. Car runs as it sits at this moment, just with a bad noise at lower rpms. UPDATE the car is been sitting for over 8 months it starts fine and idles fine driving is becoming an issue but it feels more to do with the megasquirt tune than anything else. Should probably get trailered to avoid more damage. Also it gathered some dust over the last year and its to cold to wash it. But just need to get rid of it. I have owned this car since 2003 and have stuck every penny I own into it. This is a 1997 GS with the 420A motor stroked and turbo'd to a 2.2Lt. Parts and labor alone cost more than I want. The body is in real good shape. No major dings(few small door dings) and no dents, rust or paint chipping (except a few spots on bumper). The paint does show some swirl marks in the right light. Interior is leather does show some wear nothing to much. Cruise control does not work anymore bc of Megasquirt but the throttle wire can be spliced back to have both the cruise control work aswell as megasquirt. The transmission does leak a very very little by the axle seals. Some minor oil leaks not anything major(seal on oil filter etc.) The car does need a really good tune and some dyno time. Never been on a dyno or track. Also the sunroof does show some rust and is also missing the suncover for it. Rear wiper does not work and front window washer bottle was removed to make room for fuel pressure regulator( bottle is included in spare parts). Motor was professionally built by SEHR Performance in Sioux Falls SD. This is a really fun car to drive and hate to get rid of it but money is more important at this moment.
