Vehicle Detail

For all you Mustang fans out there here we have an all original matching number 65 Fastback. This car has Power Steering and AC. The AC works just fine for cruising during the summer and the heater works for winter enjoyment. This car was painted about 4 years ago and was bead blasted down to the bear metal and painted to the original color of Arcadian Blue. This was a professional paint job by a North Carolina restorer which specializes in classic cars. I believe the car has only been had one repaint during the past 41 years. The paint is very nice and looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. This car has no rust issues at all. A new windshield was installed recently because the original one was getting hard to see at night. There are no issues with the remaining glass in the car. All lights, gauges, wipers and radio work fine. All the pans are all solid. The dash pad is perfect. Tires and wheels are new with less than 500 miles on them. The brakes lines have been flushed and inspected with no issues. All the front end joints were replaced at the time of painting. A new AC condenser was installed last summer. The engine and transmission are original to the car and were both rebuilt also 4 years ago with no issues or leaks. The car spend the first 10 years of its life in the Baltimore area then was bought to North Carolina 31 years ago and has spent most of its life in storage until the previous owner decided to get it back on the road again 4 years ago. The only issue with the car is that some stitching is coming loose on the front seats and I just haven’t taken the time to get the seats reupholstered. Not that big of a deal and very inexpensive to remedy. The speedometer is showing 7k miles and I believe it to represent 107K miles. On Feb-15-11 at 16:49:46 PST, seller added the following information: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Update: I have a few questions about the following: The horn works too. Everything on this car works that I’m aware of. Exhaust pipes and mufflers are new. They were installed at the same time as the tires. The replacement windshield is an original Ford factory replacement part not one of those aftermarket copies. I have included a picture of the Ford logo in the windshield which matches all the other glass in the car. The carburetor is a Holley 4 Barrel with electric choke. Thanks for all the questions.
