Up for auction is an extremely clean 1970 survivor Camaro that is literally like a time capsule! The car retains the ORIGINAL FACTORY PAINT, the ORIGINAL drive train, and still has the FACTORY AM RADIO! The low mileage is due to a drag racing history. Somewhere in time, this car was entered in shows, proven by 3 plaques on the dashboard from '72, '73 & '74 Iwrindale Street Machine Events that I would never remove cuz they are waaayyyy too cool! Someone loved this car so much, that he/she had it pinstriped, as seen in the pix, just like they did back in the late 70's. There is ABSOLUTELY NO RUST in this car! It retains original floors, trunk floor, and quarters. As seen in the pix the car was optioned with F41 suspension. For the dark belly pan pix, I merely wiped them down with WD-40 which, to my amazement, revealed factory overspray on the floor pans! What isn't stock are the 2 1/2" Hotchtkis drop spindles, the 2 1/2" Hotchkis drop leafs, the 650 Holley carb, the valve covers, the exhaust, and the K&N air filter. The interior is completely stock but needs some work. It's missing the headliner, seats need re-covering, dash is cracked and, because it's original, the carpet could stand to be replaced. The major A/C components are there but not functional. The car runs EXTREMELY well and is VERY RELIABLE...I would drive it without hesitation from California to New York if I had to! On a side note, this is a RESTORATION DREAM! ABSOLUTELY NO PANEL REPLACEMENT - just a few minor dents to pull. And there is a MATCHING NUMBER DRIVE TRAIN to boot!
