My brother bought this 1995 Dodge Dakota in June of 2010. He has since put 4,000 miles on it, and he drives it daily. He absolutely loves the truck and is only getting rid of it because he would like to buy a sportier car. It is being sold "as is". It handles great in the snow, as it has 4 studded snow tires on factory rims. He also has a full set of factory stainless steel rims for the summer that are included with the truck. There are tires on those rims, but they will probably need to be changed soon. This truck has a 3.9L V6 Magnum engine that has been well maintained, see below. It is the carbuerated version with a Holley carbuerator and a 22 gallon gas tank. It is the SLT version with cruise control, a clean, beautiful, cloth bench seat. (Previous owner had it covered 24/7 with a blanket). It also has a brand new CD Player with AM/FM radio. It has matching Moon and Vent visors, (See photos) and a matching Jericho fiberglass cap on it as well as carpet in the bed and the sliding window screens have no tears and are clean. There is also a custom sealed pass-thru from the cab to the bed, includes factory truck slider and cap window glass if someone wants to convert back or take the cap off. It has an automatic transmission with overdrive, there are currently 113,000 original miles on the truck. There is a small amount of surface rust in the interior wheel wells of the bed, and a little surface rust on the rear bumper. Here is a list of new or newer things done to the truck: Done by current owner (My brother) 1. New muffler 7/10 2. Inspected in NY on 11/08/10 3. Oil Change, Tune-Up, Spark Plugs, Wires, Distributor cap, rotor, and wiper blades. 11/08/10 4. New Gas tank Straps and fuel sending unit 5. Smaller area on frame welded by a certified automobile welding shop, call for details. Done by previous owner just prior to purchase 1. New Heater Switch 2. New brake pads and brake lines 3. New Radiator 4. New Tailgate cables, Cap Liftgate cylinders 5. Starter was rebuilt 6. New Battery 7. Air Conditioning Recharged As you can see there are alot of new parts, pieces, and maintenance done to this truck. There is however 1 issue that needs to be fixed. The fuel gauge does not work properly and has been diagnosed at a Dodge Dealership. They have told him that it needs a new wire from the tank to the front of the truck.
