1967 Pontiac Firebird 400 automatic coupe, red exterior, black interior, bucket seats, console, gauges, hood tach, front power disk brakes, power steering, non-original 3.90 gears. PHS documented, rebuilt non-original 400 and TH400 with less than 200 miles on the rebuild. I have lots of paperwork and receipts on this car going back to the early '80's, with the car in California and Arizona since then. Engine Specs: Date Correct 1967 YT block, .040 over forged pistons 10:1 compression, forged rods, Summit 2801 cam, stock 670 heads, original intake, '67 Quadrajet, Jet Hot coated Hooker headers, dual 2-1/2" Flowmaster exhaust, HEI Distrubutor. Transmission: Correct PX code TH400, rebuilt with 10,000 mile transferable warranty This car is in nice driver condition, and only needs minor finishing items. Body is straight and rust free with only minimal bubbling in the lower quarters behind the rear wheels (see pics). Paint is very presentable, but does have some minor chips and imperfections (see pics). Floors and trunk are solid and rust free. Interior is complete and in very nice condition. Driveline is completely rebuilt and also includes the following new parts: battery, water pump, high torque starter, radiator, power steering pump, power steering gearbox, fan clutch, heater core, blower motor, etc. This car drives and handles very well. Things that don't work/need repair: console clock and radio do not work, interior dome light not working, shifter is a little loose/sloppy and could be rebuilt, speedo gear needs to be swapped out to match the non-original gears, and the carb could use some tuning (older rebuild, starts and runs well, but I think it could be tuned to make more power). We have a new baby on the way and I just don't have the time to enjoy this car. I have a clean and clear Arizona title for the car. I will require a $500 Paypal deposit within 3 days of the close of auction, balance is due in cash at time of pick up. The reserve is set well below what I have into this car in the last two years, but please do not ask me what it is. I reserve the right to end the auction early if it has not met reserve, as I have the car for sale locally as well.
