1997 Eddie Bauer Expedition. The 5.4 has 180,000 miles however would not hesitate on using it to drive my family anywhere in the United States. The 5.4 had religious synthetic oil changes by myself and the last few owners. Currently running Mobil 1 5/20. I would keep it but am needing a 3rd row. Does currently have a few tasteful modifications done to the vehicle- Star running boards, body color 6K HID Headlights (Blue/White hue) Sony XPlod head unit (CD, SAT, IPOD, etc) Front Door JL Audio Components Rear Door Phoenix Gold Components 2 JL 12" subwoofers in a sealed enclosure 1 JL Audio Amp for subwoofers 1 Rockford Fosgate 4 channel amp for all doors (Older fosgate amp, but works just fine) Sound backer installed in the doors 4 Toyo Open Country H/T tires with about 16,000 miles are on the vehicle with about 75% tread life remaining. Tire rotation was just done and the mechanic said the brake life on all 4 corner was 75% or more. New front swaybar end links were installed as bushings had some wear. I had the fuel filter changed 10,000 miles ago and the air filter I changed last week. Only issue I know is the fuel pump check valve is stuck open. This does not affect the fuel delivery, it affects the fuel pressure to the rail when the vehicle is turned off and gives it a hot start issue here and there. It just takes a second turn of the key to build pressure and start it. Its a common issue with these, you can search ford-trucks.com and other online forums for information. I would install but just dont have time with 2 jobs and 2 kids. It has the usual wear rip from getting in/out on the driver's seat.
