Hello, I'm offering up for sale my beautiful 2008 Honda CBR 1000RR. This bike is in immaculate condition and has been babied since day one. I am the second owner, the first owner was famous photographer Guy Webster (http://www.spike.com/video/guy-webster-italian/2829385). He's actually a huge motorcycle collector and is best known for one of the most exclusive collection of Italian bikes in the world. He purchased this bike for his 69th birthday, but then replaced it with a new Ducati. I bought it with only 1k miles on the odometer. This bike has lived it's life in Ventura County, California up until I moved to Knoxville, Tennessee last year. It has never been dropped, damaged, or raced. It has always been stored indoors in a climate controlled museum, then my garage. An all new CBR1000RR was introduced for the 2008 model year. The CBR1000RR is powered by the 999 cc (61.0 cu in) inline-four engine with a redline of 13,000 rpm. Almost every part of the new bike was re-engineered to reduce weight including the side-stand, front brake hoses, brake rotors, battery, and wheels. In order to improve stability under deceleration, this bike is equipped with a slipper clutch. The Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) was revised this year as well. This was the first year to feature a side slung exhaust in order to increase mass centralization and compactness while mimicking a Moto GP-style.
