1965 Chevy Malibu White 2 door Sport Coupe For Sale to the highest bidder is this nice 65' Malibu. I have really enjoyed this car over the past 15 years and here is your chance to own a classic 60’s Chevy. I purchased this car in 1995 in Livermore, CA. I looked up the VIN number and it describes the car as: Series 36: Malibu, 8 Cyl. Body Style 37: 2 door Sport Coupe, 5 Passenger Assembly Plant Z: Fremont, CA Some of the trim pieces have the SS logo but I was unable to determine that it was a real SS (the emblems were most likely added at a later point. It has a Chevy 350 SBC (The engine has approx. 23,000 miles), crate motor, 4 bolt main, V8 motor with a Edelbrock Performer RPM Cam and lifters, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake manifold, Edelbrock 4 barrel Carburetor, Accel Coil, HEI Distributor. New Battery, New Fan Belt. The Transmission is a 2 speed, Powerglide. The exhaust has 2 Chamber Flowmaster mufflers. 12 bolt rear end I have been rebuilding the car little by little over the years and most recently new white paint and body work, Rust repair was done on the drivers side rear quarter panel and a new metal quarter panel was welded in. The trim and chrome accessories were removed before paint and new seals and gaskets added on the applicable parts. All of the pieces were polished and re-installed. Baby moon chrome rims with BF Goodrich radial TA tires, the tires are showing age, they having cracking in the rubber but still have good tread. The interior is nice too, It is Black with white trim and the dash is silver. The interior is pretty much complete. The seats are black vinyl upholstery and they are in great condition. There are 2 seat belts in the front seat and it never had seat belts in the back. It has an aftermarket CD player in the dash and front/rear/and bass speakers. Grant steering wheel with Grant removable steering wheel kit for security. There is an Auto Meter Tachometer in the dash and I have the original clock that fits into that spot on the dash. Here is the link: http://youtu.be/L__OqEum-TM The drivers side door needs adjustment, it locks into the first position when the door is shut normally and it needs upward pressure to fully close into the second positon. The front/rear bumpers have some dings but the chrome is still intact and shiny. Take a look at the pictures and you can see that it is still very presentable. The car runs and drives great and gets a lot of attention.
