It is white on tan, which is not common on the A8L, but is highly desired. This is the first white one I saw in person and purchased it on the spot. It has been perfect in every way for us. It has been garaged, serviced and detailed regularly since new. The only reason this is for sale is because we have a growing family and we recently bought a large SUV to haul all of us around. It has the award winning all wheel drive (Quattro) system that is equally tuned for high speed autobahn driving as well as snow packed mountain roads. The 4.2 liter V8 engine powers this exquisite sedan through a six speed transmission. It gets surprisingly good gas mileage for this size of car. A little more about the A8L in comparison to other luxury sedans- we have owned just about every Mercedes sedan, from the C to the S Class AMG. We have driven many 7 series BMWs and LS Lexus sedans and none of them come close to the all around driving experience of the Audi. A recent article in Esquire magazine said this of the Audi A8- "It's pretty impossible not to be George Clooney or Steve McQueen in the A8. It burns with sophistication and charisma. The seats feel as if you're driving an air-conditioned bed. No s#*t — the seats have built-in air. Brakes, battery, etc have all been done. BONUS- this has a New Timing Belt! Let me repeat that- the timing belt replacement that is recommended at the next service interval has already been done, saving you a LOT of money. I put a new set of Pirelli P6 tires on it a little over a year ago. 90% of the miles I have on this vehicle have been highway, driving back and forth between Illinois and Oklahoma. It is loaded out on options. It has BOTH the Premium AND Sport packages. What does that mean? It means that you get the gorgeous 19" Sport wheels and an option in the active suspension settings that say 'Dynamic'. That setting lowers the ride height and stiffens up the suspension. It also means that you have heated and ventilated front seats with built in massage. I believe the only it doesn't have is the rear seat entertainment, which I am not 100% sure was even available. If you haven't been in one of these, you don't know what you have been missing. The seats are simply amazing. I believe the information says they are 14 way seats, but there seem to be over 18 different adjustments. You have to get down pretty low to see this, but I tried to photograph it well. The wheels have normal scratches around the edge. These were there before I purchased the vehicle and I haven’t checked into seeing if they can be removed. The center caps have some sort of material on them that I am not able to clean. I have priced a new set if you are interested. On Feb-04-11 at 19:26:15 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: I took the A8L to the local Audi dealer yesterday for the scheduled maintenance. I noticed the service was due soon (I am usually about 5-6k miles early on maintenance), so I wanted to take care of that before the next owner takes possession. I got the call today that they were replacing the ignition coils. I have never had any issues with them, but I was told there was a recall and they were replaced at no charge (this is why I take it to certified Audi dealerships for service). It might not make any difference, but I thought I would let the potential bidders know they have a new set of ignition coils installed and another 10,000 miles before the next service is due!Enjoy and keep bidding!
