I am putting up for sale my 1965 Ford Mustang. I had purchased it in order to restore it but I have had very little time and now my finances are under strain now that my wife is pregnant, so it must go. The car has been garage kept for many years and the condition shows it. The mustang has a 6 cyl, automatic transmission. No frills with this model, looks like a base model. It appears to have been repainted quite a few years back and the paint is sun cracked but still kind of glossy. The headlinder has been removed and a new one is provided in the truck that needs to be installed. The motor needs a new oil pump, the motor still turns freely but there is no oil getting to the top of the head. The car also has no exhaust or radio. Previous owner replaced the brake lines, but never put fluid in the system, so it will need to be bled and adjusted. In the pictures it shows no driver side arm rest but it does come with it, it is in the trunk. Now the great parts about the car.....It appears to be extremely solid with very minimal rust(as shown in the pics). Floor pans have been replaced previously and are still in great shape. The paint is peeling off the driver side rocker but no signs of rust. The interior needs little attention, the seats look to have been redone and are in great condition. The glass is in great shape with no chips or cracks. The dash pad will need to be replaced as seen in the pics but those are relatively inexpensive. Tires are ok but are dry cracked. The carpet looks like it just needs to be cleaned. I am located about 22 miles west of Bloomington, Illinois on Illinois Route 9. Vehicle is sold as is with no warranty implied. I reserve the right to end the sale at any time for it is for sale locally. Buyer is responsible for transportation of the vehicle, as it will need to be towed ot trailered! This vehicle would make an extremely easy restore or inexpensive modification.
