You are bidding on a 1999 Ford Taurus SHO with a 3.4L V8. The transmission in this vehicle needs replacing, hence the car doesn't run. This car would be ideal for someone to use as a parts vehicle, or if someone wanted to put in the money to restore it. I am selling this vehicle because I can not afford to fix the transmission. To restore the vehicle, it would also need the suspension (shocks/struts), and brakes done. This car has been sitting for almost 2 years since the transmission went so it is a little dusty in the pics, but the car is in overall good condition. At the time when the transmission failed, the 3.4L V8 motor was running strong. Aside from the motor, there are plenty of good usable parts on this vehicle. The exterior is in very good shape, with only a little rust around the edges of the hood. There is a small dent and small scrape in the rear drivers side corner, and a few scratches here and there. There are a lot of stone chips in the paint on the front bumper. Again, the body is in fairly good shape for a 99. The interior of the vehicle is also in decent shape. The leather seats are in great condition, with only a little wear on the bolster of the driver's seat. The factory Mach audio system has been removed from this vehicle as it used to have an aftermarket audio system in it. Also, the passenger side rear seat belt does not work. All switches and controls, power windows, mirrors, door locks, and sun roof work. This car was fast, a great ride, and a real eye catcher in its day.
