Up for sale is this 1973 Dodge Charger Rallye Edition. It was originally equipped with a 318 2BBL V8, however that has been replaced with a 340 4BBL V8 by a previous owner. The motor sounds very healthy with headers, dual Flowmaster exhaust and an Edelbrock intake. The 340 appears to have a cam installed, however we do not know any specs or details on the internals of the motor. The Charger has a Torqueflite 3-Speed Automatic, power steering, power disc brakes, AM/FM radio, half-vinyl top (in excellent condition with all trim pieces intact), and nearly new (less than 500 miles) BFGoodrich Radial T/A's wrapped around Magnum 500 rims. The body of the Charger is in very good condition with very minor chips and dings, as visible in the photographs. There are a few spots of bubbling on the rear wheel openings. There is a spot near the gas pedal which has previously been repaired. That is the only rust we can see throughout the vehicle. This Charger is in very good shape for a 1970's MoPar. The interior is in very good shape. The headliner has a few rips but is not hanging down. The dashboard is uncracked and the AM/FM radio works great. The original carpeting is slightly faded as seen in the photos, but is untorn. We've driven the Rallye occasionally since we purchased it. It runs great with no issues we're aware of. We were told that the displayed mileage of 70,914 is original to the car, but we cannot guarantee it due to the fact that the Charger only has a 5-digit odometer. Vehicles left past the agreed storage date are subject to a $15.00 per day storage fee. We are open for vehicle pick up during the week. We are not open on the weekend, but can make an exception with prior arrangement. Sorry but we spend weekends with our families. VEHICLE REGISTRATION, SALES TAX, SMOG, FEES, ETC: We are a licensed California auto dealer. The state requires that if you're out of state and plan on coming here to pick up the vehicle, you need to know that California law REQUIRES the buyer to pay sales tax, registration, and smog fee's if they pick up the car and drive it away. This is still the LAW even if you put the car on your trailer and it never touches the California roadway. If you're out of state, avoid can avoid all of these required fees by having your car shipped to your state. This in most cases is less expensive anyway by the time you figure gas, lodging, and other expenses. If you're an out of state buyer but picking up the vehicle and driving home, we can reduce the state required registration to a $16.00 one trip permit, but the other fees will still apply. If you are a California resident, we collect sales tax, registration fee, and a $58.25 smog inspection fee. We then provide you with temporary registration in the window so you can legally drive the vehicle until your title and license plates arrive in the mail. All sales require a $55.00 DMV and paperwork fee. This covers the costs of our mailings of the title, bill of sale, license plates if required, and going to the DMV for you on your behalf.
