I am selling my 1978 Ford LTD-II Brougham 4 door. I has a rare 400 modified original engine and automatic transmission. There were not many made with the 400M engine. It has only 82863 miles on it.Runs and shifts great. It was a true barn find after 15 years. Some of the repairs that have been done include. exhaust, fuel tank, rebuilt carb. new tires, brakes rotors and lines, steering box, all hoses and belts, tune up, new wheel studs, new vinyl top, new oem ford center caps, It is in good condition for her year. I daily drive it 60 miles each day with no problems. The car is all original inside and out. car has p/s p/b air conditioning (converted) am/fm 8track all work clock still works. original ford mags. Engine is very healthy burns nothing not a leaker. All windows work Transmissions shifts like new. The car has a up to date inspection and like i said is a daily driver. She turns a lot of heads. It is a great canidate for a restoration. You just dont see this car anymore.The car has been repainted some time in the past and it starting look old but it still cleans up nice. There are the usual scratches and dings but nothing requiring major body work. I know the car is a good first car for someone looking for a piece to make their own. But the engine and trans alone are worth what i am asking. A lot of trucks came with this engine and trans combination. if you looking for a drivetrain. Some of the things she needs done are .
