1981 Toyota SR5 4 Wheel Drive Pick-up Truck. Long Bed. Runs, drives, and stops. No a/c. Heat works. Clean title and registered until August 2011. Windows roll up and down adequately Slider window is standard equipment. Wipers work, though left mister is only operational. Tires all have decent tread. 4WD works too. No horn. Grant GT steering wheel. Signal, lights, hazards, and tail lights all work. Forgot to test back up lights. Truck does start up, but does require starting fluid. Lot of vibration of the motor whiles it is idling. Also there is a whining sound. This is original California blue and yellow plate truck. Has a JVC am/fm c.d. player amateurishly installed. Does work.. Speaker holes cut in doors. Odometer reads 53500. Unsure of true mileage. Dash does have some cracks. All glass looks good and intact with no cracks. Working seat belts too. Left door and left fender were damaged when 4 wheeling. Does come with replacement fender and door not installed. Oil looks clean. Believe it has some sort of Chevy springs or lifts. Something to do with the suspension. It is definitely a bumpy ride. Has a new left tailight assembly installed. Also missing rear bumper. Any questions email. On Jan-30-11 at 14:29:49 PST, seller added the following information: Drove the truck today approximately 50 miles without incident. Though it required starting fluid to get her going, the whining noise went away once the vehicle warmed up. Possibly a vacuum leak.On Jan-31-11 at 12:05:54 PST, seller added the following information: We just learned from the owner that the carburetor will probably need to be replaced or rebuilt. That is the reason for the starting fluid required when starting up. If to sell in California we can only sell as a parts car because we are pretty sure it is not going to pass smog. As of today Jan 31st we are also lowering the reserve. So at a three digit reserve the owner feels it definitely not worth putting money into. The truck has passed smog before and has an higher then average vehicle history report.On Feb-04-11 at 16:47:24 PST, seller added the following information: I had to list this auction twice. the person who bought it last registered on ebay the same day he bought the vehicle where he supposedly resided in Anchorage,Alaska.
