Vehicle Detail

delisaj Store DUE TO A BIDDER WHO NEVER CALLED BUT EMAILED AFTER THE AUCTION AND BACKED OUT OF THE DEAL, WE ARE FORCED TO RELIST THIS CAR! PLEASE NOTE IF YOU BID AND PLAN ON BUYING THIS CAR, YOU MUST CONTACT US BEFORE THE AUCTION ENDS OR I WILL CANCEL YOUR BID. We have all heard the terms; “Survivor”, “Barn Find”, “Time Capsule”, “Garage Kept”, “One Owner”, “100% Original”, “Grandpa’s Car”, “No Hit”, “Rust Free” etc.!!!! WELL HERE IT IS! These terms all describe this ONE OWNER ~51,000 MILE, very rare 1962 Chevrolet Nova Convertible! The one and only ORIGINAL TITLE is dated January 2, 1962! Purchased new from Hulac Chevrolet in Omaha Nebraska. (the Hulac tag is still on the trunk) Documentation includes, The Original Title, 1962 Chevrolet Owner Protection Plan, 1962 Chevy II Owners Guide, 1962 Convertible Top Operation Guide, and several receipts from years gone by. This car runs and looks like its odometer states. This little Chevy 2 Convertible may be the only one left in the world that is as tight and unmolested as this car is! Everything works as it should, the radial white stripe tires are like new, the AM Radio Plays, all the lights and turn signals work as they should and the car drives and steers great. The mostly original Bright Red paint still shines. The chrome and bright work are in exceptional condition (the main door and fender moldings have all the typical dings as any car that has ever seen a parking lot), The original Bright Red seats covers (front driver lower cushion is starting to show some wear), door panels (arm rest show some wear), floor covering (floor mats have a couple of small cracks), interior trim and weather striping are all almost unbelievable for its age. Original jack is in place in the trunk, as is a very nice bias-ply white wall spare tire and wheel. All body panels, trunk pan and body pans are in great shape and look to be original to this car. There is NO rust through anywhere! (Under the car has minor surface rust that easily cleans off with a wire brush. There is NO cancer!) The 194-6 Cylinder engine runs well, but it is experiencing some blow by now, probably due from sitting and the valve seals may have dried out. Don’t get me wrong, it runs well and smooth, but I do see some blow by coming out of the valve cover breather. The power glide transmission is smooth and shifts at it should. I am listing this car for a friend. Please call him to discuss the price of this car at 303-886-0422. Vehicle sold As-Is! Please ask questions prior to bidding. My feedback speaks for itself. Good Luck. More photos available upon request.Thank you for your interest in this great little car.
