This is a perfect car for a Jaguar collector, especially someone doing their own restoration. Current mileage is approximately 85,000 which is low for a 1989 car. This car was donated to us by a former board member. We are a nonprofit organization and do not need the car. All the service records for the past 16 years are in the glove compartment. The previous owner said all new front disc pads and rotors were installed at 78,000 miles. The rear pads were replaced at 60,000. Records show that the following were replaced: Rear Struts, Hydralic Reservoir and Solenoid switch, Accumulator sphere, Gaskets on Master cylinder, and Moog Rack and Pinion steering system. The interior and exterior are good for a vehicle this age. We recently had the vehicle checked out by a mechanic. This is a rough estimates of repairs that may be needed: Brake master cylinder is causing the brake pedal to go to the floor and brake components are rusted; Rear struts may be bad; Drive belts and cooling hoses need to be replaced; Several door handles are broken and out of adjustment; Needs headliner; Valve cover gasket is leaking.
