Vehicle Detail
1957 Pontiac Star Chief coupe 347 V8 tri-power, hyrdamatic auto trans Factory ordered with NO power options of any kind! Ultra rare as the Star Chief was top of the line model and usually came with most power options Very early muscle car example and estimated to be only 120 ordered like this i was told? Recently came from a deceased estate in Texas, and was apparently fully restored in the 80's and maybe in CA. Tartan Red paint still holds up very well, but not show quality. Most of the chrome looks new with just a few areas needing to be redone for show. Seats, door panels, headliner, carpet, trunk, all look as new. The undercarriage is in amazing condition with dual exhausts and all new front-end steering parts and shocks. Has the classic Silvertown WW tires in as new condition. This is the same body as the 57 Chev's but with a lot more chrome as you can see. It is a real crowd pleaser and never fails to get folks wanting to come have a chat, as they say they have not seen one for ages! Runs, drives and handles very well, with that unmistakeable tri power sound. A very classy ride in all the right colors. Nada price guide puts an average model at $44K http://www.nadaguides.com/Classic-Cars/1957/Pontiac/Star-Chief-Custom-Catalina/2-Door-Hardtop/Values and this is WAY better than average! Comes with boxes full of spare and new parts, workshop manuals etc. More detailed pictures of car at : http://s416.photobucket.com/home/kfelsman Click each picture twice to enlarge them to 100% size! Priced realistically with a low reserve. Car is currently in Scottsdale, AZ, but will help in the transport of it for genuine interests only. Happy bidding!
