Vehicle Detail

My wife is the second owner of this Explorer in 2000. We lived in Phoenix area until 2008; there is very little corrosion or rust. More highway/tollway miles than city streets. We bought another SUV, so the Explorer XLT has to go. Here are the standard features & options on this SUV: Air ConditioningAM/FM StereoDual Air BagsPower SteeringCassetteABS (4-Wheel)Tilt WheelRoof RackAir Conditioning, RearCruise ControlAlloy WheelsPower WindowsCD (Single Disc)Power Door LocksPower SeatRunning Boards to step into SUV Power door lock Theft Deterrent - Cannot start vehicle without Ford manufactured key (2 included) Panic alarm on both remotes Pros: Clean Title Well-maintained & kept in a garage Little corrosion or rust- in Arizona from 2000 to 2008 Recent Tune Up: Spark Plug wires, Autolite Platinum Spark Plugs, Seafoam to clean intake manifold. New Air Filter ready to be installed Full Tank of gas 1 Remote entry Key Fob works fine. There are no fluids that leak from this vehicle. The fluid on the ground below some pictures is the Seafoam used to clean the intake manifold. Cons: There has only been 1 accident since we bought it in 2000. My wife rear-ended a Camry at a slow speed about May 2008. Airbags did not deploy, but did cause 2 scratches to bumper and 2 dents to hood. I used my finger to pop out these minor dents from underneath the hood. The bumper and hood damage are not very noticeable. You may or may not notice in the pictures. Driver Lock intermittently does not go up or down. It has been working fine for me lately. 2nd Key fob remote entry is missing the lock button, unlock does function. -see picture 2 small Dents on front of hood -see picture The hinges on the rear liftgate cause an additional ½ inch gap with rest of vehicle. Even with this gap, rain and snow do not leak in the liftgate. (The gap between doors and frame is generally ¼ inch.) The rear liftgate has to be slammed shut. Paint is 12 years old & has some scratches The Armrest has been repaired, but does not look great. -see picture Summary: I have 100% rating. I put effort into describing this vehicle which has served us well for many years.
