Hello Fellow Ebayers, Today we have a 1973 BMW Baveria 3.0s Inline 6 cylinder automatic sedan with an all original interior in great shape! This is an obvious Black colored car over Red leather interior. Lets begin with the Mechanicals: Easy turn key car seems to start everytime and the engine once warmed up purrs like a kitten. The longer it runs seems like the better it runs, I was impressed with the smooth running abilities of this BMW inspite of the 38 years of use. I gave it a thumbs up how it runs and the performance of the transmission. The steering was good drove straight and did not pull, the brakes performed well and stopped when it was requested to do so without delay. Now a note on the Exterior Body: The paint does not appear to be old, But I would say the car was painted somewhere within the past 3 years. It needed some buffing and wet sanding which I did and it looks a lot better now than when I recieved it. Now I have noticed some imperfections in the paint confined to 3 areas the Hood, Roof and Trunk which I have photographed that appear to be like little dots in the paint, The sides are fine. Some may say no big deal but I wanted to mention it any way. Paint does shine very nicely through out the car. I have also photographed 2 small rust spots each about the size of your thumb. They are both located on the lower drivers side and I think can easily be taken care of at this point, Not a big deal. Also the only other area I noticed was the rear chrome bumper center bottom portion has some surface rust, Again not a big deal. The car over all is very solid and I think in extremely good shape in comparison that it has survived so well after 38 years. The Interior seem to be all original and in very good shape. All the leather upolstry looks very well without any issues, the Dash board is crisp and clean, All the Gauges work and look very clean and clear. All the plastic looks to be in very good used condition. The headliner is like in perfect condition and the rugs & mats are in outstanding condition with hardly any signs of wear. The interior wood trim is in really good shape, Very crisp and clean I think it looks amazingly well. All the windows work except I think one rear window does not not sure why. The mileage Speedometer works fine, however I want to point out the Odometer does not increase so Iam not sure of the exact mileage, But it is being sold as a 79k mile car. Based on the originality and the condition of the interior I dont think it could be much more than this considering. The Trunk compartment is complete with its original spare tire and has all its covering boards, the tool kit is not present not sure why. The under carriage is in original solid daily driver condition. The wheels look to be in fairly good condition alloy has some scuffs but for the age they appear to be in very good condition also along with the rubber tires look good as well. I dont see why you couldnt simply start this car up and drive straight home, Wherever home maybe. This is a very decent car that I think is a good find and could prove to be a good buy! NO RESERVE! Hello Fellow Ebayers, Today we have a 1973 BMW Baveria 3.0s Inline 6 cylinder automatic sedan with an all original interior in great shape! This is an obvious Black colored car over Red leather interior. Lets begin with the Mechanicals: Easy turn key car seems to start everytime and the engine once warmed up purrs like a kitten. The longer it runs seems like the better it runs, I was impressed with the smooth running abilities of this BMW inspite of the 38 years of use. I gave it a thumbs up how it runs and the performance of the transmission. The steering was good drove straight and did not pull, the brakes performed well and stopped when it was requested to do so without delay. Now a note on the Exterior Body: The paint does not appear to be old, But I would say the car was painted somewhere within the past 3 years. It needed some buffing and wet sanding which I did and it looks a lot better now than when I recieved it. Now I have noticed some imperfections in the paint confined to 3 areas the Hood, Roof and Trunk which I have photographed that appear to be like little dots in the paint, The sides are fine. Some may say no big deal but I wanted to mention it any way. Paint does shine very nicely through out the car. I have also photographed 2 small rust spots each about the size of your thumb. They are both located on the lower drivers side and I think can easily be taken care of at this point, Not a big deal. Also the only other area I noticed was the rear chrome bumper center bottom portion has some surface rust, Again not a big deal. The car over all is very solid and I think in extremely good shape in comparison that it has survived so well after 38 years. The Interior seem to be all original and in very good shape. All the leather upolstry looks very well without any issues, the Dash board is crisp and clean, All the Gauges work and look very clean and clear. All the plastic looks to be in very good used condition. The headliner is like in perfect condition and the rugs & mats are in outstanding condition with hardly any signs of wear. The interior wood trim is in really good shape, Very crisp and clean I think it looks amazingly well. All the windows work except I think one rear window does not not sure why. The mileage Speedometer works fine, however I want to point out the Odometer does not increase so Iam not sure of the exact mileage, But it is being sold as a 79k mile car. Based on the originality and the condition of the interior I dont think it could be much more than this considering. The Trunk compartment is complete with its original spare tire and has all its covering boards, the tool kit is not present not sure why. The under carriage is in original solid daily driver condition. The wheels look to be in fairly good condition alloy has some scuffs but for the age they appear to be in very good condition also along with the rubber tires look good as well. I dont see why you couldnt simply start this car up and drive straight home, Wherever home maybe. This is a very decent car that I think is a good find and could prove to be a good buy!
