This is a 1959 Jeep CJ 3B. It is a parts or project machine. It can not be driven on the road, must be trailered or towed. It does run & drive & I was running it around in the snow just a little bit ago.It has a clear IL title which is dated from 1996, that should not be a problem though. It does not run real good. I assume the carb is gunked up from old gas & it may need a tune up. Exhaust has a leak at the doughnut bad. It will run though. The body tub is basically junk, it is very bad shape. Very rusty & holy. The hood can be salvaged as well as the front flat fenders hopefully. Tailgate may be able to be saved & the windshield frame looks good. Glass is good. 4WD works in both ranges, tranny shifts through the gears as it should. At one time someone had a plow on it & the front springs seem droopy. I heard no noises from the drivetrain. Hard to hear much with the bad exhaust. Radiator has good antifreeze in it. The generator will need to be replaced. The light on the dash was actually on for the amps. I assume it was on because it was not charging. I checked in to the generator & it was loose. Tryed to tighten it & broke off one of the ears where the bolt goes through. Sorry. No idea if the lights even work. Have not checked much on it, just fired it up & cruised through the snow. I have always wanted a 3B but I do not have time to mess with it. Thought I would. I have a CJ 10A project that has to get done first. The frame appears to be alright although I have not got underneath it good to check it all out. This is just an old Jeep so do not expect much of anything. It will run & drive, it did anyway. It is ofcourse being sold as is. Please ask any & all questions before you bid. This has to be trailered, can not be driven home. No brakes. Among other things. I will be happy to help with any questions. I will not ship this, do not ask. Must be fully paid for within 7 days of the end of the auction. Do not bid if you are 2K miles away & have no way to get it. Please do not waste my time. I have excellent feedback, check it & see.
