Vehicle Detail
Up for bid is a NICE 1992 JEEP WRANGLER with the 4cyl fuel injected engine. This jeep has high miles on the body (was told around 80k on newer engine) but seems to be very well kept as it has relatively NO rust on the body or frame. This jeep has a suspension lift (not sure what brand) and also has Xenon extended fender flares. sitting on newer 33x12.5x15 tires with american racing wheels. It drives pretty decent for a jeep, no sloppy steering, shimmy's , shakes or anything out of ordinary. The engine does not smoke, knock or tap. 4 wheel drive works great! The jeep recently had a few new parts (steering box, front wheel bearing and caliper, muffler, thermostat) The jeep just passed NJ State Emissions Inspection and has a 2013 sticker. The paint could use a polish and will shine up nicely. The doors are an off color as they look to have been added along with the hard top from another jeep. I do have matching half doors for it and some soft top mounting hardware but not a soft top itself. (there relatively cheap on craigslist or here). Overall its honestly a really decent jeep , could use a little tlc here and there but what 18 year old jeep doesn't. (driver seat tears, rear seat tear, no radio or speakers, cracked windshield) The only mechanical problems I've found is if you shift quickly the trans synchros 1&2 will grind, seems to be a typical problem with older ax5's.Also leaks some trans fluid. Nothing entirely major that would keep you from driving away with it but just wanted to note it. I have also found synchro kits here on ebay for around $100 if you are mechanically inclined it shouldn't be hard to replace. ~~This auction will end next Sunday the 23rd a little around 8:22pm~~. I priced the jeep to sell quick, if you have been looking around I'm sure you'll find some overpriced rust buckets with less miles then this one. Dont let it get away and BID TO WIN. If you have any questions feel free to email me or come take a look. I have also enclosed a video of the jeep for you to have a better look. If you need more specific pictures I have more as well. Thanks & Good Luck
